Project Aim

This project aims to develop a web-based pet adoption system that helps pet lovers find suitable pets while helping shelter staff manage adoption records efficiently.

Objectives

  • Develop a web-based platform for pet adoption.
  • Allow pet lovers to browse, search, wishlist and apply for pets.
  • Allow customers to buy pet food and pet needs through a product payment feature.
  • Allow staff and admin to manage applications, appointments, pets, products, payments and reports.

Problem Statement

Many animal shelters still use manual records or social media posts to manage adoptions. This causes scattered information, slower adoption decisions and difficult record tracking.

Successful Solution

A centralized web-based system that allows users to browse pets, submit adoption requests, book shelter visits and buy basic pet needs conveniently.

Product Vision Statement

For pet adopters and animal shelters who need an efficient way to manage and find pets, PawFect Home is a web-based application that allows pet browsing, adoption requests, appointment booking and product payment for pet needs. Unlike manual or social media-based adoption processes, our product provides a centralized and organized adoption platform.
